Telephone cards can be purchased at kiosks, post offices or some shops. They are available for an amount of 2, 5 or 10 lats (LVL). Prepayment mobile telephone cards (Zelta Zivtiņa, Amigo etc.) are widely accessible. The English speaking information can be reached by dialling 1188 and 1180. Paying with coins is uncommon.
